FYI Birds is an experimental trio from the Bay Area, consisting of Robert Woods-LaDue (Drums), Richard Haig (Modular), and Devin Smith (Synth, Flute). Their music is mostly improvised and revolves around working within limitations, and their sets are structured using randomized time divisions, graphical scores, and other stochastic methods. "Lourenço" was recorded in April 2020, during California’s shelter-in-place order.
